  11. Does the doctor take continuing education courses regularly?  Yes, he is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which recognizes dentists that are committed to going above and beyond the normal continuing education requirements. Dr. Hibbs is proficient in cosmetic dentistry (including the revolutionary Lumineers), implants, orthodontics (including Invisalign), oral surgery and all other aspects of general dentistry. Usually  Dr. Hibbs personally completes all required treatment in our facility. It is very rare for our patients to require a Specialty referral. However, in those rare situations, Dr. Hibbs has an excellent network of providers to connect you with, and he maintains close communication with them regarding on-going treatment at all times.

  12. Why did Dr. Hibbs become a dentist?  Dr. Hibbs decided to become a dentist during childhood.  He wore braces off and on for 5 years, during which he suffered a terrifying baseball bat hit to the mouth.  His dentist, the late Dr. K L McAlexander, saved his teeth during an evening emergency dental visit.   This event strengthened Dr. Hibbs' desire to become a dentist, so that, perhaps, he might help others as he had been helped.  Dr. Hibbs enrolled in the High School for the Health Professions Magnet School in Dallas, TX, taking dental assisting and laboratory courses, then continued on through graduation from Baylor College of Dentistry - one of the world's best dental schools.
